Bonang Matheba gives work, life and love update

In a recent interview on YFM with Nia Brown, Mthaux and Okay Wassabi, media personality Bonang Matheba, also known as Mzansi’s Queen B did her first interview following the announcement of being on the latest season of Young, Famous & African, and reportedly gave insight into what has been going on in her life recently and also dished on her future plans.

Bonang made her big break into the fast past media industry 11 years ago. Since then, she has given her career her all, TV presenting, hosting, writing books, coming up with a successful alcoholic beverage, being the star of her own reality show, and more.

She’s recently gone quiet and was even called a fallen angel by some netizens.

However, Bonang is back to shut down the claims.

Bonang is now ready to give her fans what they want. For starters, she reportedly said she would be returning to the YouTube scenes, TshisaLIVE reported.

“I have been working, I know the BForce have been annoyed with me because they feel I’ve been quiet and not sharing, but I’ve gone much quieter and that’s only because I’m 35,” Bonang was quoted as saying.

“The older you grow, the quieter you become, and that’s because I did all the shouting and dancing when I was 20”, she reportedly added.

Bonang is also going to be starring in season 2 of Young, Famous, & African.

According to IOL, she was quoted as saying,

“I’m part of season two of Young, Famous & African, and it’s wonderful, it’s a guest starring role. I caused quite a riot in the 20 seconds that I’m there, but I enjoyed that.”

Bonang had reportedly told YFM reporters that she was finding it difficult to return to her old working routine after the pandemic.

She was said to have taken the time to travel more and recently fills her days by doing shoots for B*Dazzled.
