Kwaito star Brickz’s weight gain in prison shocks fans – Photo

A photo of Mzansi Kwaito artist, Brickz, real name Sipho Ndlovu was shared on social media which had Tweeps thoroughly surprised and divided after seeing the difference in his significant weight difference.

Brickz was sentenced to 15 years in prison after he was found guilty of raping a 17-year-old relative in 2013, TimesLIVE reported. During Magistrate Baloyi’s ruling, it was detailed that the victim was a virgin at the time of the incident and her hymen had broken during the act, leading her to bleed.

After he raped his victim, Brickz reportedly instructed the girl to take a bath and threatened to kill her if she uttered a word to anyone about what had transpired between them. The victim was also said to have gotten infected with a s**ually transmitted disease during the rape.

Bricks, 42, was born in Zola, Johannesburg, and rose to fame with his popular hit songs including Sweet Ma Baby, Let Right, Tyovityo, and more. He was discovered by a famous South African producer, DJ Cleo, and by 2005, he released his first debut album t**led Face Brick, Briefly reported.

Recently, a picture of the Kwaito artist topped the Twitter trends list and left Tweeps divided and guessing about the cause of his weight gain in prison. While others speculated that he had gained the weight due to depression. Meanwhile, others slammed the claims and figured that Brickz was merely living his best life in prison, just eating and sleeping. For that matter, he was dripped in what appeared to be a Gucci belt in the photo.
