The late Queen Elizabeth would have celebrated her 97th birthday today.

LATE QUEEN ELIZABETH WOULD HAVE CELEBRATED 97TH BIRTHDAY TODAY
Today would have been the late Queen Elizabeth’s 97th birthday. She’s Britain’s longest-reigning monarch and sat on the throne for seventy years.
She passed away “peacefully at Balmoral.” the Royal Family’s website revealed after she died last September.
In a special tribute to the monarch, The Royal Family shared a beautiful photo of the late Queen on Twitter.
“Today we remember the incredible life and legacy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, on what would have been her 97th birthday,” the photo was captioned.
The Prince and Princess of Wales also shared a special tribute.
The couple shared a photo of the late Queen with some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren on social media. The Princess of Wales took the image at Balmoral Castle last summer. Princes George, Louis, and Princess Charlotte are also in the picture.

A MONARCH CELEBRATES OVER TWO DAYS
According to The Economic Times, Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her birthday twice a year following royal tradition.
Queen Elizabeth celebrated her actual birthday on 21 April with her family. But April is generally cold, so she celebrated her official birthday on the second Saturday in June.
Per the Royal Family website, her June birthday is celebrated with the spectacular Trooping the Colour parade. Her official birthday is celebrated with other members of the royal family and the people of Britain.
