Iconic pop star Madonna recently sent her millions of fans and family into a panic after she was found unresponsive in New York on Saturday 24 June. The 64-year-old was hospitalised and sent to the intensive care unit after being diagnosed with a “serious bacterial infection.” Taking to Instagram, her manager Guy Oseary confirmed the news and added that her tour has been postponed until further noticed.
New reports reveal that she is back home and feeling better.

Madonna back home and feeling better
On Saturday 24 June this year, Madonna was rushed to hospital and intubated overnight after developing a bacterial infection which saw her spend several days in the ICU.
Taking to Instagram, the musician’s longtime manager Guy Oseary confirmed the news in a post. While sharing that her Celebration Tour — which she announced in January, was being postponed.

He also added that she was doing better and that a “full recovery” is expected from the star.
“Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.”
People Magazine has now revealed that Madonna is back home and in recovery mode. According to a source, the star is “feeling better”

‘Preparing for the worse’
Meanwhile, a close family member of the star recently opened up about how everyone reacted to the news.
According to the unnamed relative in a Daily Mail article, “no one really knew which direction this was going to turn, and her family was preparing for the worst.”
