In 2019, South African media personality and actress Pearl Thusi announced that she was adopting a little girl named Okuhlekonke. The news was met with general air of proudness as South Africans wished her well on her journey as a foster parent.
Years have passed since the Queen Sono actress made the announcement and now social media users are wondering why Pearl has only been posting her biological daughter lately and not her adopted one.
Peeps worry about Okuhle as Pearl Thusi only posts Thando
“It’s been really incredible. I’ve tried not to make a big deal of it in terms of talking about it. Women do this every day, our grandmothers did this for our parents. There are aunties, women have to travel and then someone has to take care of their children.”
“It’s a village and I’m an African and I live by everything that an African means as much as I possibly can,” Pearl Thusi told TshisaLive after adopting a little girl called Okuhlekonke.
Up until recently, she has kept her followers up to date with photos of Okuhle and her biological daughter Thandolwethu.
And now many are wondering why they are only seeing Thando and not Okuhle.
The actress just took to her Instagram to share a photo of herself and Thando which she captioned:
“Really missing my human… @thando__mokoena.✨❤️✨”
Peeps weigh in
The post left a lot of her followers wondering where little Okuhle is. Here are some of their comments:
@enhle_289 said: “Where is Okuhle?”
“And what about @okuhle.konke?”
Pearl’s fans quickly responded that she was probably protecting the little one from the social media eye.
