Tweeps left cackling at Sonia Booth’s dance moves

On Monday, 3 July, former South African model-turned-entrepreneur, Sonia Booth took to Instagram and shared a video of herself dancing and said she had attended an event for the Marula Cheesecake Passion Liqueur launch. After seeing the clip, a controversial blogger grabbed the video, shared it on Twitter, and had Tweeps poking fun at her and her dancing skills.

Soweto-born former model, Sonia Booth has been capitalising on her cheesecake saga after airing her dirty laundry of her estranged “cheating” husband Mathew Booth in 2022. Amid things, she exposed her husband’s mistress, Bongani Moller for third-wheeling her marriage .

“I would’ve let this one slide too until I realised my carrier Tupperware was at her house. You don’t mess with a Township girl and her Tupperware!” Glamour quoted Sonia as saying.

The former Miss South Africa second runner-up and businesswoman showed off some pictures from her recent marula liqueur launch that took place at Meli Lounge in Pimville. Several guests attended the event and Sonia was thrilled with the outcome. She decided to give her Instagram followers a glimpse into how fun the event really was by sharing a clip of herself taking centre stage on the dance floor. She said that her guests, including herself were on the dance floor until the AMs.

“We danced till 03:30.”

However, after seeing the video, social media users were unimpressed with her dance skills as well as her appearance and voiced that she looked nothing like her usual self. On her feed, Sonia had captioned that she was busting local comedian, David Kau’s dance moves.

It seems her caption was of no use as she found herself blocking Instagram users from sharing their honest opinions in the comment section. A mischievous entertainment blogger, Musa Khawula decided to grab one of the videos Sonia had uploaded on Instagram and shared it on Twitter.

After seeing the video on the platform, Tweeps were left scratching their heads. Many wondered when Sonia’s divorce glow would kick in. Meanwhile, several others said her moves were “not giving” and figured she was doing the “cheesecake dance”.
